Consider becoming a volunteer! There are many ways you and your organization can participate with WRHM.

Below are just some of our volunteer opportunities.
Office Support
Volunteers in our office engage in a variety of activities including providing clerical support, sorting donations, working in the food pantry and clothing closet, writing grants, maintaining our records, among other things.
Client Services
Client services volunteers work directly with clients registering them for services and referring them to programs when WRHM cannot meet their needs. Training is provided and strict confidentiality rules apply.
Youth Activities
Our youth programs provide opportunities for volunteers to participate in our tutoring program, community chess club,back to school supply drive, and 4-H club. If you would rather work behind the scenes, there are opportunities to provide administrative support to these programs as well.
Special Programs and Events
We often need extra volunteers for special events like our Empty Bowls Dinner, Trivia Night, Holiday programs distribution, or weekend work projects. If you have limited availability but would like to be contacted when we need extra hands, please fill our our volunteer registration form and email it to ourwrhm@gmail.com. We will notify you when volunteer opportunities arise.
